At the top of the hill is a large statue of Deng Xiaoping, often called the “Architect of Modern China.” There are also some stunning views over Shenzhen. Sadly we couldn’t stay and look around for longer because of the weather. It rained very heavily on the way back down and we had to shelter for a while under some trees with some other folk.
